Farxiga generic name dapagliflozin 10 mg is an oral antihyperglycaemic drug that is prescribed to treat type-2 diabetes to better control blood sugar levels.
Farxiga is in a class of drugs called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. In clinical trials, Farxiga lowered fasting blood sugar levels by 28.8 mg/dL and hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) by 0.9 percent after 24 weeks of treatment. Farxiga Side Effects

Seek immediate medical assistance if you have any very serious side effects, including: unusual tiredness, nausea/vomiting, stomach/abdominal pain, trouble breathing.
Common Farxiga side effects may include:
genital yeast infection;
urinating more than usual; or
sore throat and runny or stuffy nose.
